Edward Kidson Medal 2014

Congratulations to Dr Greg Bodeker who was recently awarded the Edward Kidson Medal for his scientific paper "Indicators of Antarctic Ozone Depletion" published in Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics in 2005. The Edward Kidson Medal is awarded by the Meteorological Society of NZ, to the author of an outstanding scientific paper, in recognition of the contribution this has made to meteorology and/or climatology. The judging panel considered this work to be outstanding in regards to the advancement in science it provides. The last time this medal was awarded was in 2010. Greg is pictured here with Dr Sam Dean, President of the Meteorological Society of NZ, as he receives his medal at the recent MetSoc Annual Conference in Wellington.
